My project has been sitting in Queued

What's happening

The badge stays on Queued and nothing appears to happen. Queued means the upload succeeded and the project is waiting for a free processing machine. Jobs run one at a time, so a large project ahead of yours holds the line.

What to check

1. Look at your other projects. If one is in the Engine stage, that is what you are waiting on.
2. Consider the size of the job ahead — a large site can spend an hour or more in processing.

How to fix it

1. Wait. Nothing is lost.
2. You do not need to keep the tab open. Close the browser entirely and come back later; processing continues without you.

Avoiding it next time

Nothing to prevent — this is normal behaviour on a queue, not a fault.
