The map is black, blank, or won't load

What's happening

The map area renders black or empty even though the project processed successfully. The usual cause is a stale cached copy of the page or its tiles, either in your browser or at the CDN edge — most likely right after a project has been republished.

What to check

1. Reload the page normally first.
2. Then force a full reload with Ctrl+F5 (Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac).
3. Then open the same project in a private window. If it renders there, it was your cache.

How to fix it

1. Hard-reload the page.
2. If it renders correctly in a fresh private window, clear the site's cached data in your normal window.

Avoiding it next time

Nothing on your side — this is a caching artefact, not something you caused.
