Understanding your deliverables

A quick tour of every output DroneFlow produces and when you'd reach for each one.

A finished DroneFlow project can include the full set of survey-and-mapping deliverables. Here's the short version of what each one is for — each has its own detailed article.

Both elevation panels use one shared colour scale, so the trees and rooftops that glow pale in the DSM and vanish in the DEM are a real difference in the data, not a change of palette.
  • Orthomosaic — a single, georeferenced, distortion-corrected top-down image of the whole site.
  • DSM & DEM — elevation grids: the surface as captured (DSM) and the bare ground (DEM).
  • Contours — elevation lines at the interval you choose, exportable to CAD.
  • 3D model & point cloud — a textured mesh you can orbit, and the dense point cloud behind it.
  • QA report — our automated check that every deliverable is complete and consistent before you rely on it.

Not every capture produces every deliverable — a 3D-only oblique flight has no orthomosaic, for example. The project only ever shows what your data actually supports.
